The Service Department at Mothman Harley-Davidson® takes great pride in servicing Harley-Davidson® motorcycles and Buell® motorcycles. Our team has over 30 years of combined experience and annually our technicians participate in ongoing factory training!

 

 

 

 

Mothman utilizes Harley-Davidson®'s next generation diagnostic tool, Digital Technician II (DTII). The first generation Digital Technician was introduced six years ago, allowing technicians to interface with 1995 and later model year motorcycles. This was a great advancement in the servicing and repair of the Harley-Davidson® motorcycles as it cut down service times and made possible a leap forward in technology integrated into your Sportster®, Touring, Softail® or Dyna®. Now it's time for another step forward.

The DTII development team was charged with creating a diagnostic tool that introduces leading-edge technology to improve technician proficiency and increase customer satisfaction. They have achieved their goal! After using this tool in our service department, I would say they met their objective of "Creating a tool that makes the dealer and technician look good."

The DTII diagnostic tool can only be found in Harley-Davidson® Authorized Service Facilities where Factory Trained Service Technicians are available to answer any questions you might have.

As excited as I am about the DTII Diagnostic Tool, I am just as excited to get a new tire changer and balancer. The new Coats RC-200/ex Tire Changing Tool is a custom engineered tire changer with options including a three-position motorcycle rim clamp, a superior bead loosening system and a powerful Robo-Arm. That is only the tip of the iceberg with other options made to help protect your high dollar custom wheel and create faster and safer bead setting methods.

The Coats 700 Solid State Direct Drive Wheel balancer is the perfect complement to our new tire changer. With it's easy to read digital display and pinpoint accuracy, you have an easy to use tool that gives the customer a faster and more precisely balanced wheel every time.
